Donald Ray White, Sr., 60, of Flemingsburg, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Saint Joseph Main in Lexington.

Born in Fleming County on August 2, 1964, his father was the late Donald Wayne "Don" White and his mother was the late Lucy Belle Dotson White.

Donald worked at Techno Trim, Toyo Seat, Mitsubishi, and U.S. Shoe.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Donald is survived by his wife of 20 years, Candis  J. Henry White; his three children,  D.J. "Bull" White, Blake White (Ashley Ishmael), and Courtny (Corey) Muse;  his three grandchildren, Logan Christopher White, Koah Michael Muse, and Weston Ray Muse.  He is also survived by three of his siblings, Kathy Ann Blankenship, David Elwood White, and Ryan White; along with many extended family members and friends.

In addition to his mother Lucy and his father Don, Donald was preceded in death by three of his siblings, John Matthew White, Randy Wayne White, and Danny White; and his maternal grandparents, Ida Dotson and Robert Dotson.

The funeral service will begin at 12 noon, Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home, with Bro. Eugene Reeder  officiating.

Donald will be laid to rest in Shannon Cemetery.

W.N. Fant American Legion Post #5 and Franklin Sousley VFW Post 1834 will be performing military rites.

Pallbearers include D.J. White, Blake White, Tony Hunt, Coty Hunt, Randy Purcell, and Joe Crawford.  Honorary pallbearers include Tim Peacock.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m., until the hour of service at 12 noon, Saturday, at Boone-Nickell located at 150 West Water Street, Flemingsburg, Ky. 41041.
