Earvin Anderson "Rooster" Jolly, Jr., 56, of Flemingsburg, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016, at Kenton Pointe.

Earvin was born in Flemingsburg, Kentucky on May 12, 1959, a son of the late Earvin Anderson "Whitey" Jolly, Sr., and the late Opal Lillian Mattox Jolly.

He is survived by his companion of 20 years, Linda Hopper; his daughter, Melinda Kay Jolly; his step children, Junior Hopper, Charles Hopper, Becky (Mark) Walker, Matthew Hopper, Mark (Jessica) Hopper, Elizabeth Hopper, Robert Hopper, John Hopper, Tara Darlington, and James Parker; several grandchildren; his brothers, Denver Jolly and Rusty (Paula) Jolly; his sister, Sandra (David) Fleming; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at Elizaville Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Boling officiating.

Boone-Nickell Funeral Home is caring for the arrangements.
