Eldred Florence Warder, 86, of Flemingsburg, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at the Hospice of Hope Center in Maysville.  She was the widow of Donald Eugene Warder.

Born in Fleming County, on June 17, 1937, her father was the late Roy Farris and her mother was the late Delpha Conley Farris.

Eldred was retired from Wal-Mart in Maysville after 17 years as a cashier and had worked at US Shoe in Flemingsburg for many years. Eldred was a longtime member of the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ.

Eldred is survived by her two children, Cindy Sasher of Lexington, Ky., and Carla Truesdell and husband Rick of Dover, Ky.; her daughter-in-law, Paula Warder. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; her two sisters, Shirley Stevenson of Fleming County and Mildred Doyle of Illinois; along with several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

In addition to Donald, her husband of 59 years who passed in 2015, as well as her parents, Eldred was preceded in death by her son, Randy Warder;  her grandson, Shane Warder; two of her siblings, Charles Farris, Glenn Farris; her brother-in-law, Jim Warder.

The funeral service will be private at the convenience of the family.

Eldred will be laid to rest in Mineer Cemetery.
