Ella Louise Crump, 93, of Flemingsburg, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home in Flemingsburg.
Born July 19, 1926, on Three Mile Road in Fleming County, Louise was the daughter of the late Kirby T. Smith and the late Mary Williams Smith.
Louise was born, raised, and raised her family on Three Mile Road in Fleming County, where she was a lifelong farmer and housewife. She graduated 8th Grade in Ewing, and was always a role model and pillar of strength for her family and all that were blessed to know her. She was also a founding member of the Flemingsburg Church of the Nazarene, where she continuously demonstrated her strong faith and love of The Word of Jesus Christ. Louise was a devoted Christian, wife and mother.
Louise is survived by her three children, Charlotte "Susie" Jett, Ricky W. Crump and wife Debbie, and Randy D. Crump and wife Becky; her grandchildren, Karen J. Hamm and husband Barry, Jimmy R. Jett and wife Shelley, Lindsey A. Crump, Shawn C. Crump, Hannah L. Crump and Joshua A. Crump.
Her great-grandchildren surviving her include Dustin S. Hamm and wife Sarah, Morgan P. Jett, Tayler J. Jett and Katie B. Jett; and her great-great grandchildren, Hunter S. Hamm and Isaac L. Hamm.
She is also survived by many friends and extended family.
In addition to her parents Kirby and Mary, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, David Scott Crump, her sister, Jewell Mae Manley and her brother, Elgin "Buck" Smith.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., Monday, December 2, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Rev. Clint Stricklen, Bro. Jerry Boling, and Rev. Bud Hance officiating.
Louise will be laid to rest in Longview Cemetery in Bethel in Bath County.
Visitation will be 2 to 5 p.m., Sunday, December 1, at the funeral home.
