Ernest "Junie" Bradford Dugan, Jr., 76, of Flemingsburg, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at the Hospice of Hope in Maysville, Ky.

Born in Maysville on May 30, 1945, he was the son of the late Ernest Bradford Dugan Sr. and late Ada Garr Jones Dugan.

Junie was a long-time dairy and tobacco farmer in Mason and Bracken County. He was also involved in the heavy construction industry in Cincinnati. He was an avid coon hunter and enjoyed fishing, playing euchre, and always catching up on the local news at the BP every morning at 5 a.m., on Highway 11.

He is survived by his two children, Wes (Heather) Dugan of Murfreesboro, TN, and Amy (Shawn) Totten of Siler City, NC; his four grandchildren, Brooke, Taylor, and McKenzie Dugan all of Murfreesboro, TN, and Shontai Totten of Siler City, NC. He is also survived by his sister, Bonnie (Ronnie) Shannon of Flemingsburg; and his brother, Donald "Don" (Connie) Dugan of Flemingsburg.

The funeral service will begin at 3 p.m., Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Joseph officiating.

Visitation will be 1 p.m., until the hour of service at 3 p.m., Saturday, at Boone-Nickell.

All in attendance are strongly encouraged to wear face masks and to observe social distancing.
