Evelyn Clarice Adamson Jolley, 88, of Flemingsburg, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Fleming County Hospital.  She was the widow of Waverly Jolley.

Born in Robertson County on November 19, 1937, Evelyn was a daughter of the late James Thomas Adamson and the late Verdie Lou Cooper Adamson.

Evelyn was a homemaker who was more than a homemaker.  She was the matriarch of a family that she loved and adored and she was able to work as hard as any man and still cook a great meal.

Evelyn is survived by her six children, Thomas Jolley, Gary (Tracy) Jolley, Vicky Jolley, Danny Jolley, Laura (David) Dwelly, and Johnny (Peggy) Jolley; her eight grandchildren, Beverly (Jeff) Reed, Alicia (Patrick) Planck, Kendra (Brad) Hilterbrandt, Leo (Jessica) Mers, Brittany (Ryan) Gillespie, Adam (Kelsey) Jolley, Victor Littleton, and Carter (Gracie) Dwelly; and her 17 great grandchildren (with one waiting in the wings); along with her brother, Carlos Adamson; and many extended family members and friends.

In addition to Waverly, her husband who passed in 2009; her mother Verdie Lou; her father Thomas; Evelyn was preceded in death by 11 siblings.

The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Friday, December 19, 2025, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Clay Miller officiating.

Evelyn will be laid to rest in Elizaville Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Leo Mers, Adam Jolley, Carter Dwelly, Tanner Ormes, Trey Reed, and Bradyn Hilterbrandt.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at 1 p.m. on Friday, at Boone-Nickell located at 150 West Water Street in Flemingsburg.
