Everett Earl Dailey, 62, of Carlisle, Kentucky, died Friday, August 23rd at his home.

He was born on November 25, 1950 in Flemingsburg, KY to the late Stanley Reed Dailey and Marjorie Shields Jolly.

Mr. Dailey was a retired truck driver and had served in the United States Army. He was a very special daddy and papaw and will be missed by many.

Mr. Dailey is survived by his children, Everett Ear Dailey Jr. (DJ), Sharon Lynn Dailey Crawford, Bobbie Jo Dailey Estes, and Ashley Nicole Dailey Petitt, five sisters, Kathy McCarty, Brenda Shepard, Anna Jolly, Fran Durban, and Melinda Cope, four brothers, Charles Dailey, Stanley Dailey, Larry Vice, and Joe Cook, nine grandchildren, Shiann Wallingford, Tyler and Andrew Crawford, Kesha William, Dustin, Justin, and Elijah Estes, Isaac Brockman, and Ben McCall, and special friend and mother of his children, Lisa Morris and a special Carolyn Morris.

He was preceded in death one sister, Sue Carol Dailey, one brother, William Shields, and one granddaughter, Keileigh Dawn Petitt.

Funeral services will be at 1PM Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home with Rev. Carey McGurier officiating. Burial will follow in Elizaville Cemetery. Visitation will be 11AM until time of the funeral. Military rites will be performed by the W.N. Fant American Legion Post #5 and Franklin Sousley VFW Post 1834.

Pallbearers are Billy Estes, Jason Crawford, Everett Earl Dailey Jr. (DJ), Stanley Dailey, Charles Dailey, and Rodney Earlywine.
