Everett Lee Estill Hamilton, 56, of Hillsboro, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Saint Claire Regional Medical Center.
Born in Fleming County on March 5, 1967, his mother was the late Anna Louise Stimel Hamilton and his father was the late Everett Hamilton.
Everett was a lifelong farmer who worked for Independent Stave Company - Commonwealth Cooperage. He had previously worked 23 years for the Family Dollar Distribution Center and had worked as a carpenter for Barry Manning Construction.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kimberly Lambert Hamilton; his two children, Estill Thomas Hamilton and Katherine Louise Hamilton; his two grandchildren, Estill Thomas Lee Hamilton and Gauge Jolly. He is also survived his three brothers, Thurman (Sherry) Hamilton, Bruce (Heather) Hamilton, and Paul (Lori) Hamilton; his father-in-law, Sam Lambert; his best friend, Lee Pennington; and his friends he considered as his second parents, Willie and Garnetta Pennington; his nieces; his nephews; along with many extended family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, Anna Louise and Everett, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Anna Lambert; and his brother-in-law, Brian Lambert.
The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Willie Skaggs officiating.
Everett will be laid to rest in Newman Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Gauge Jolly, Shawn Royse, Eugene Hamilton, David Lambert, Bruce Hamilton, Lee Pennington, Paul Hamilton, and Thurman Hamilton. Honorary pallbearers include Hayden Logan, Scott Hamilton, Adam Hamilton, Christopher Armitage, Wade Logan, and Travis Fawns.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at Boone-Nickell located at 150 West Water Street, Flemingsburg, Ky. 41041.
