Felicia Dawn Purcell Barnett, 41, of Flemingsburg, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024, at her home.

Born in Flemingsburg on August 18, 1982, her parents are Linda Purcell and Jeff Miller.

Felicia worked as a customer solutions specialist with Delaware Life.  She had also worked as a waitress at several local restaurants and at Fleming County Hospital as an ER receptionist. She was of the Christian faith.

She is survived by her parents Linda and Jeff; her three siblings, Sandy (Kevin) Carver, Randy (Diana) Purcell, and Crystal Watson;  her five nieces, Morgan Mellott, Bridget Fryman, Brandi Pollitt, Courtney Brown, and Ashley Watson; two great nephews and four great nieces; special friend, Michelle Conn; her god-daughter, Jherika Wallingford; several aunts, uncles, cousins,  extended family, and friends.

Felicia was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Carrie DeVaughn; and  her paternal grandparents, Clay and Virginia Miller Sr.

The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Jesse Hickerson officiating.

Felicia will be laid to rest in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Daryl Miller, Shaun Fryman, Jordan Pollitt, Brandon McRoberts, Derrick Ross, and Brian Glass.

Visitation will be 11 a.m., until the hour of service at 1 p.m., Thursday, at Boone-Nickell located at 150 West Water Street, Flemingsburg, Ky. 41041.
