Forest Eugene Elliott, 74, of Lexington, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019, at Saint Joe Hospice in Lexington.

Born in Morgan County on February 7, 1945, he was the son of the late Robert Elliott and the late Mary Ethel Cassidy Elliott.

Mr. Elliott was an entrepreneur and co-owner of Elliott's Safety & Security as well as Elliott Receiving.

He is survived by his son, Robert Elliott of Versailles; his daughter, Melissa Elliott of Winchester; his brothers, George (Bonnie) Roseberry of Flemingsburg, and Ted (Irene) Elliott of West Liberty.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia "Patti" Parker Elliott; his brother,  Earl Elliott; his sister, Este Roseberry Hurst; his sister-in-law, Nadene Elliott;  and his nephew, Jody Elliott.

Service will be 1 p.m., Friday, June 28, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Pastor Russell Zik officiating.

Mr. Elliott will be laid to rest in Mount Carmel Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday, June 27, at Boone-Nickell.
