Garnett Hall, 81, of Flemingsburg, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026, at her residence. She was the widow of James Lowell "Jim" Hall.
Born in Floyd County on February 4, 1944, Garnett was the daughter of the late Johnnie Bays and the late Gladys Williams Bays.
Garnett had worked for Hutton-Loyd Tree Farm, a truck driver for Eugene Barbour & Sons, D & H Resorts for 20 years and retired from Wald Manufacturing after 15 years of service. She attended the Fox Valley Community Church.
Garnett is survived by her son, Jimmy Hall and his wife Charlene; her two grandchildren, Ashton Hall (his wife Shelby) and Peyton Hall; and her two great grandchildren, Kash Hall and Banks Hall. She is also survived by her three siblings, Carl Bays and wife Doris, Donald Bays and wife Margie, and Harold Bays and wife Joyce; special friend, James Rogers; along with many extended family members and friends.
The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Marshall and Johnny Jett officiating.
Garnett will be privately laid to rest in Newman Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11 a.m., until the hour of service at 1 p.m., Wednesday, at Boone-Nickell, located at 150 West Water Street in Flemingsburg.
