Obituary

Geneva Lee Hunt Vice, 79, of Country Lane, Flemingsburg went to be in the arms of her Heavenly Father, Friday November 1, 2013. She passed away with her family around her.

She was born July 28, 1934 to the late William "Bill" and Ada Evans Hunt. She enjoyed being with her family, friends and her church family at Unity Baptist Church. She loved flowers, and making other people smile with her loving ways and sense of humor when she felt good.

Geneva retired from Licking Valley Nutrition Center in Flemingsburg where she was a cook. She enjoyed her co-workers and the senior citizens that came to the center.

She loved flowers, watching the UK Wildcats on TV, her faithful dog Buddy and her grand dog Brownie. She lighted up by visits from family, friends, neighbors, past co-workers and church family.

She is survived by a daughter Marilyn K. Lee of Flemingsburg; son Jerry Wayne Vice of Dalesburg; Patricia Colley, a special woman in her life and she loved her as family. Her grandchildren Jennifer Lee Vice of Ewing, Donna Lee (Patrick) Jones of Lexington, and Jamie Douglas Lee of Portage, WI. Also survived by her great grandchildren Cameron and Keagan Lee of Portage, WI; Kalyn Gallagher of Lewisburg and Bella Vice of Richmond. A sister-in-law Wilma Vice Jones of Bluebank. Two loving nieces close to her Jeanie (Wayne) Strode of Dalesburg, and Sharon Holbrook of Lexington, grandson-in-law Jerry Foister of Lewisburg, and Doug Lee of Poplar Grove along with many more nieces, nephews and cousins. Also surviving are a daughter Kathy ( Mike) Russell and family, a son James A. (Brenda) Vice Jr. and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years James A Vice Sr. who passed away June 17, 2013; sisters Wilma Hunt Marshall, and Lillian Hunt Hollbrook; Brother -in-laws, Harvey Arnett Marshall, Kenyion Holbrook, Henry Otis Jones Sr.

Funeral service will be at 1 PM Tuesday November 5, 2013 at Unity Baptist Church with Bro. Layne Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 - 1 PM Tuesday at the church
