Gladys Beatrice Bragg Toy, 83, of Flemingsburg, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at her residence.  She was the widow of H. C. Toy.

Born in Rowan County on November 26, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Allie Bragg and Rebecca Jones Bragg.

She is survived by her children, Mary Thompson, Juanita (Randy) Sapp, Darla Stamper, Bernice Toy, Gary Toy, Eddie (Tammy) Toy, and Bruce Toy; several grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her siblings, Wanda Becraft, Terry Bragg, Larry Bragg, and Dennis Bragg; along with several nieces and nephews; and a very special niece, Rebecca Palmer.

In addition to her husband H. C. and her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by two grandchildren, three great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild;  her siblings, Mabel Roberts, Joyce Choate, Lucy Oyer, Glendal Bragg, David Bragg, Virgil Bragg, and Taylor Bragg.

Service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, February 22, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Pastor Jacob White officiating.

Gladys will be laid to rest in Siloam Cemetery in Rowan County.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home.
