G.T. Vice, 80 of Flemingsburg passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at his residence. He was born May 19, 1932 in Bath County son of the late A.M. Vice & Hester Jackson Vice.
Mr. Vice was a lifelong farmer, and a member of the Ewing Baptist Church .
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by Four Brothers; Alvin , Elgin , Floyd & Gano Vice and Three Sisters; Leona Duffy, Viola Richards & Geneva Vice.
He is survived by his loving wife Diane Harmon Vice, One Son; Ray Vice and wife Cindy of Independence, KY, One Daughter; Geraldine 'Gerry' Kegley & husband Jim of Mt. Carmel, Three Brothers; G.C. Vice, Jack Vice & Ewell Vice, Seven Grandchildren; Timmy Hickerson, Bryan Vice, Ryan Vice, Amy Utterback, Alissa Messmer, David Kegley & Angela Helterbrand, Eight Great-Grandchildren, Justin Helterbrand, Aaron Utterback, Alex Vice, Mackenzie Kegley, Jenna Utterback, Brayden Vice, Parker Vice & Gentry Messmer.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 PM , on Friday, July 13, 2012 at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Brother Jerry Boling officiating, Interment will follow in the Flemingsburg Cemetery . Active Pallbearers will be Timmy Hickerson, David Kegley, Bryan Vice, Ryan Vice, Bobby Messmer, Jeff Helterbrand & John Utterback. Maurice Reynolds, Gilby Crawford, Gene McElfresh & Louis Shannon will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6 - 9 PM on Thursday at the Funeral Home.
