December 31, 1969 – March 18, 2025
Harry Hord Foxworthy, age 78, of Aberdeen, Ohio passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Baptist Health Lexington.
Born in Maysville on October 5, 1946, Harry was the son of the late Hargis Foxworthy and the late Alice Clary Foxworthy.
Harry was an entrepreneur of many local businesses, such as Twin Pin Lanes in 2004 and Foxworthy's Home Furnishings. He never saw a stranger, had a great sense of humor, and had a great love for his family. He was a Mason, a member of the Republican Party, and had been a concessionaire for NASCAR. He was a jack-of-all-trades, an innovator, and a fearless risk taker.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Dorothy "Dottie" Felix Foxworthy; his two daughters, Angie (John) Gregory and Andrea (Anthony) Myers; his four grandchildren, Ryan "Hubie" Fryman, Payton (Silas) Ingram, Gage Gregory, and Allison (Tyler) Cupp; and his great grandchild, Patrick Cole Fryman. He is also survived by his twin brother, Larry (Joyce) Foxworthy; his sister-in-law, Collette Felix, his brother-in-law, Terry Lee Teegarden; along with many extended family members and friends.
In addition to his mother Alice and his father Hargis, Harry was preceded in death by four of his siblings, William Foxworthy, Terry Foxworthy, Barbara Bowen, and Marian Foxworthy.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, March 21, 2025, at Mount Carmel Cemetery with Rev. Larry Ingram officiating.
Pallbearers include John Gregory, Anthony Myers, Gage Gregory, Tyler Cupp, Silas Ingram, Jason Foxworthy, and Ryan Fryman. Honorary pallbearers include Nicholas Teegarden, Michael Teegarden, Roy Hill, and Cole Fryman.
Harry and his family are being cared for by Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.
