Obituary

Helen Cropper Dearing, 90, of Flemingsburg, passed away Tuesday evening November 5, 2013 at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home.

Helen was born September 24, 1923 in Fleming County to the late Dewey & Mildred Turner Cropper.

Helen was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved and supported her family in any endeavor that they under took. She was a lifelong member of the Beechburg Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene K. Dearing, her parents, son-in-law James Higgins, and a brother Elmer Cropper

She is survived by a daughter Ann Higgins; sons Larry (Barb) Dearing and Kenny (Marilyn) Dearing all of Fleming County; grandchildren Lisa Gilkerson, Jamie Higgins, Kelley Smith, Leslie Litzler, Tammy Thomas and Shannon Dearing, and 12 great grandchildren; sisters, Ethel Jones and Janet (Kenneth) Watson.

Funeral service will be at 1 PM Friday November 8, 2013 at Beechburg Christian Church with Bro Jerry Blevins, Bro. Clint Stricklen, Bro. Jackie Hinton, Bro. Lonnie Eden officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-9 PM Thursday at the church and after 8 AM Friday.
