Irene Evelyn Eads. 91, of Russellville, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at Villa Georgetown in Georgetown, Ohio.  She was the widow of Carl Eads.

Irene was born in Mt. Carmel on April 23, 1928, to the late Charles Smith Gardner and Mabel Mattingly Gardner.

For 32 years she worked for Jersis Mounds of Cincinnati as a seamstress.  She was a member of Erlanger Baptist Church.

Irene is survived by her sister, Iva Thomas of Russellville, Oh; along with several nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Irene was preceded in death by her siblings, Charles Gardner, Elizabeth Black, Ethel Sauer, Bessie Bunton, Anna Katherine Hamm, and Louise Muse.

Funeral service will be 12 p.m., Saturday, February 8, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Rev. Tracy Parker officiating.

Irene will be laid to rest in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Roy Quinn, Larry Fearin, Woody Thomas, Jake Jodrey, Gary Muse, and Marvin Blevins.

Visitation will be 10:30 a.m., until the hour of service on Saturday at the funeral home.

In place of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the charity of one's choice.
