Jack McCarty, 64, of Flemingsburg, formerly of Bath County, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at his residence.

Jack was born October 28, 1950, in Bath County, the son of the late Lee Andrew and Maude Alice McCarty.

Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Bright McCarty, his parents and three brothers.

Jack is survived by his daughters, Vickie (Elbert) Griffith of Owingsville and Jessica (Simon) Acevedo of Flemingsburg; his grandchildren, Elbert Griffith, Jr., Shirlan Terrill, Pashley Griffith, Jorgan Perez, Michael Acevedo, Grace Griffith, Saul Vazquez and Emily Gaskins; his brothers, Henry McCarty of Owingsville and Tommy Dale McCarty of Madisonville; and his sister, Linda Sue McCarty of Olive Hill and several other family members.

All services are private.
