Obituary
Jacquelyn Ann Patterson Hord, age 85 of Flemingsburg KY passed away Monday May 22, of 2017 at Care Center at Kenton Pointe in Maysville.
Born July 30 of 1931 in Ainsworth, Nebraska, she was the daughter of late Lloyd Patterson and Ruth Post Patterson of Cheyenne Wyoming.
Jackie is survived by her husband of 70 years William T. Hord who she wed January 13, 1947; four sons: Charlie Hord, of Maysville, William Dale Hord and wife Penny, Bradley Hord and wife Angela, Jeffery Hord and wife Ann all of Flemingsburg; also thirteen grandchildren; Casey, Rusty, April, Erica, Scott, Perry, Molly, Kurt, Landon, Amanda, Ashley, Willie, Kyle; and five great grandchildren: Noah, Addison, Jasmine, Caraline, and Raylann. Other survivors include one brother Lloyd Patterson of Morrisonville New York, & one sister Joan Patterson Tayloe of Casper Wyoming, also nieces & nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jackie was a Kentucky Colonel, a member of Homemakers, and a devoted member of the Galilee Church in Lewis County. Jackie was also a very loving wife, mother, & grandmother who treasured the time she spent with loved ones. She also enjoyed traveling, visiting her hometown in Cheyenne Wyoming, and spending her winters in Florida. Mrs. Hord will be greatly missed & lovingly remembered.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday May 25, 2017 at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Phil Cropper & Keith Sergant officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Visitation is Wednesday May 24, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home in Flemingsburg.
Pallbearers will be; Casey Hord, Rusty Hord, Scott Hord, Perry Hord, Kurt Hord & Kyle Hord; Honorary Pallbearers will be Willie Hord, Fred Thomas, David Hord, Johnny Hord, Bill Breeze, Larry Breeze, Gary Breeze, Ricky Hord & Ronnie Hord.
