James Bailey, age 88, passed away Sunday morning June 20, 2010 at the home of his daughter in Versailles, KY. He was a former resident of Flemingsburg, KY. He was born on Dec. 19, 1921 in Carlisle, KY to the late Jerry and Ola McIntyre Bailey. He was a pipe fitter and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his wife Arvilla Scott Bailey and 3 brothers Paul, Wilson, and Delbert Bailey.

1 Son: Ronald Gene Bailey Versailles, KY.
Funeral services will be at 1 PM Wednesday at the Boone - Nickell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 PM - 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Military rites will be proformed by the W.N. Fant American Legion Post #5 and Franklin Sousley VFW Post 1834.
