Obituary

James Willis "Bill" Gulley, 72, of Flemingsburg, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016, at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home .

Bill was born May 9, 1944, at Muses Mills in Fleming County, to the late Jesse R. and Mary Smalley Gulley.

Bill was a retired custodian from Simmons Middle School in Flemingsburg and had worked previously for a cleaning company in Greenville, OH.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by seven sisters, Mamie Swim, Alma Muse, Reda Helphenstine, Flora Rice, Naoma Beckett, Bea Rice, and Freida Helterbrand; one brother Tommy Gulley.

Survivors include his two sisters, Aline (John) Sellers and Nina Hopper; two brothers, Tracy R. Gulley and Paul (Wanda) Gulley; a very special niece and caregiver, Peggy Miller; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews

At Mr. Gulley's request all services are private and at the convenience of the family.

Boone- Nickell Funeral Home is caring for all arrangements for Mr. Gulley.
