James Nelson "Jimmie" McElfresh 70, of Elizaville, passed away Monday April 18, 2011 at Fleming County Hospital after a long illness. He was born July 20, 1940 in Nicholas County to the late Herbert and Helsie Watkins McElfresh. He was a retired bus driver for Fleming County School System and a life long farmer.

Survivors include his wife Barbara Ann Humphries McElfresh

Children: Ceonia (Tony) Leet, Keith (Mavis) Leet, Pam (Bob) Tribby, Kim (Mike) Razor, and Michelle (Eddie) Koehler

Siblings: Billy (Edna) McElfresh, Gene (Amanda) McElfresh, Don (Bonnie) McElfresh, and Patsy (Donnie) Vice

Grandchildren: Heather and Hannah Leet, Blake Tribby, Kevin Leet, Kelly Wiggins, Luke Wiggins, Paige Muchow, and Madison Koehler

Funeral services will be at 1 PM Thursday April 21, 2011 at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 - 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Elizaville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Hope
