Janet Faye Marshall, 76, of Flemingsburg, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2026, at her home.

Born in Mason County on June 11, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Garland Logan and Edith Dunaway Logan.

Janet received her associate’s degree and worked as an LPN. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, working on the farm and taking care of the cattle.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jesse Bruce Marshall Jr.; her one son, Joey (Kendra) Marshall; her three grandchildren, Jenna Marshall, Katie Marshall, and Ella Jo. Marshall.

The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Anthony McGlone officiating.

Janet will be laid to rest in Shannon Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Dale Marshall, Darrell Logan, Russell Marshall, Michael Parker, Jeremiah Logan, Jarrod Fritz and Greg Howard.

Visitation will be at 11:30 a.m., until the hour of service at 1 p.m., on Wednesday, at Boone-Nickell located at 150 West Water Street in Flemingsburg.
