Jeffrey Scott Ginn, 61, of Flemingsburg, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022, at UK Hospital in Lexington.

Born in Aberdeen, Ohio on February 28, 1961, he was the son of the late Elden "Dink" Ginn and the late Betty Fender Ginn.

Jeff was a farmer and the owner of the Farmers Stockyard.  He graduated from UK with a degree in computer science, animal science, and accounting.  He always said he was the only person that could "count cows on a computer".  He loved the community and enjoyed supporting the kids.  He loved working with cattle and livestock as well as the many pets he had.

He is survived by his three children, Madison Paige Ginn of Lexington, Lauren Napier of Lexington, Maxwell Christopher Ginn of Flemingsburg; his three stepchildren, Aleisha Anderson and husband Chris of Owingsville, Alexia Gray and husband Anthony of Cynthiana, and Bryan Davis of Stanton; his ex-wife, Melissa Williams Ginn; and his two grandchildren, Riley and Destiney.  He is also survived by his brother, Randy McFarland and wife Carol of Woodstock, Va.; along with many extended family members and friends.

The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Larry Williams officiating.

Visitation will be 11 a.m., until the hour of service at 1 p.m., Wednesday, at Boone-Nickell.

At his son Max's request, please feel encouraged to wear your cowboy hats and fedoras like his dad would.
