Jeffrey Wayne "Jeff" Gulley, 53, of Flemingsburg, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2016 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center.

Born November 21, 1963, in Fleming County, he was the son of Paul Howard Gulley and the late Wilma Lee Harding Dunaway.

Jeff worked for Fleming Homes and Licking Valley Community Action Program. He enjoyed motorcycles and old cars. He loved to help others and children were drawn to his likeable personality.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Anita Gillum Gulley; his children, Margaret (Adam) Prater, Michelle Gulley, and J. J. Gulley; his grandchildren, Arabella Prater and Axton Prater; his father Paul and stepmother, Wanda Gulley; his stepfather, Joe Dunaway, Sr; his brothers, Doug (Lori) Gulley, Joe (Crystal) Dunaway, Jr.; and his sister, Tammy (Skyler) King.

He was preceded in death by his mother Wilma Lee Harding Dunaway.

Funeral services will begin at 1p.m., Monday, January 9, 2017, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hillsboro Cemetery. Military rites will be performed by the W.N. Fant American Legion Post #5 and Franklin Sousley VFW Post 1834.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers include Joe Dunaway Jr., Doug Gulley, Jerry Dixon, Ronnie Gillum, Bruce Gillum, and Davey Eldridge. Honorary pallbearers include Curtis Stephens, Ricky Dailey, David Lambert, Travis McGlone, Arnie Fields, Bobby Gorman, Jackie Mason, Mark Hopkins, Jeff Lee, Terry Bernard, David Corbin and Paul Stegall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), P. O. Box 97075, Washington, DC 20077-7258.
