IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jeremy Dean
Hester
January 15, 1979 – February 13, 2018
Jeremy Dean Hester, 39, of Flemingsburg, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at his residence.
Jeremy was born in Fleming County on January 15, 1979, to Jerri Woodard Hester and the late Morris Dean Hester.
Jeremy had worked as a quality control engineer for Mitsubishi, Toyo Seat and KDMK. He had worked at Larry Fannin Chevrolet in Morehead and most recently Tim Short Auto Group in Morehead. Jeremy was a dedicated Christian who enjoyed reading his Bible and was able to quote scripture, sharing with his family and friends. He recently became a member of the Flemingsburg Baptist Church where he attended with his mother. Jeremy enjoyed being outdoors, putting together model cars, watching UK basketball and spending time with his son. With a smile on his face and something positive to say, Jeremy never met a stranger. He was always one to help others, instrumental in persuading those around him to attend church services and to accept help in their personal lives.
Jeremy is survived by his sons, Jeremy Dean "J.D." Hester, Jr., and Shane Vice; his mother, Jerri Hester and her fiancé, Billy Joe Denton; his aunts, uncles and cousins; his extended family; and his many friends.
In addition to his father Dean, Jeremy was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Glenn Woodard; and his paternal grandparents, Lois and Kenneth Hester.
Services will begin at 1 p.m., Monday, February 19th at Flemingsburg Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Brown and Bro. Layne Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in Longview Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Bryan Bradley, J. J. Hardin, Rodney Conners, Chad Bryant, Jeremy Sparks, Timmy Sparks, Victor Kilgore, Michael Kielman, Brian Stokes, and Travis Roberts.
Visitation will be 5 – 9 p.m., Sunday, at the church located at 1856 Elizaville Road in Flemingsburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Belle Grove Springs (758 Stockton Road, Wallingford, Kentucky 41093) and/or the charity of one's choice that would benefit someone with addiction.
Boone-Nickell Funeral Home is caring for Jeremy's arrangements.
