Jerrod Allen Kabler, 25, of Ewing, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2017.

Born on December 7, 1991, in Maysville, Jerrod is the son of Braides Flora Peck and Frederick Allen "Freddy" Kabler.

Jerrod worked as a towboater for Marquette and Inland. He loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors especially on the farm. He enjoyed moving at a fast speed whether it was on his ATV or behind the wheel of a car.

He is survived by his mother, Braides Flora (Daniel) Peck; his father, Frederick Allen "Freddy" Kabler (Kathy Conrad); his brothers, Jake (Stephanie) Kabler and J.D. Peck; his maternal grandparents, Patty and Duke Flora; his paternal grandmother, Lucy Kabler; his nieces, Josie Kabler and Brandi Turner; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Fred Kabler.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, August 26th, at the Hillsboro Christian Church with Bro. George Sloan officiating. Visitation will be noon to 1 p.m., at the church located at 80 Denton Avenue in Hillsboro.

Honorary pallbearers include Donnie Land, Dro'ore Taylor, Mark Barnes, Ron Wiseman, Morgan Flora, Sarah Flora, Kristen Day, Hazel Bode and his brothers.
