Jessie Ann Goodpaster, 21, of Ewing, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at UK Medical Center in Lexington.

Born in Morehead on October 11, 2004, Jessie was the daughter of Nicholas (Regina) Goodpaster and Nicole Adkins (Chris) Worthington.

Jessie was currently enrolled at Morehead State University. She had started working at Kees Farm Supply in Grayson and had previously worked as a waitress at Pasquale’s. She attended Willard Church of Christ. Jessie lived life on her own terms and marched to the beat of her own drum. She was happy and had a great smile. She loved little kids, concerts, photography, and Bluegrass music. Words will never be enough to describe Jessie, her beautiful heart, and the incredible person she was. She lived freely, she gave without expecting anything in return. She listened without judgment; she lived fiercely showing it through her actions. Jessie left people better than she found them. The love she gave, the lives she touched, and the memories she left behind will never be forgotten.

In addition to her mother Nicole and stepfather Chris, her father Nicholas and stepmother Regina, Jessie is survived by her fiancée, Joe Adams and his son Jameson; her two brothers, Cody Adkins and Dylan Goodpaster; one sister Peyton Worthington, her maternal grandparents, Roger and Judy Adkins; her paternal grandmother, Vickie Williams; her step-grandmother, Christina Goodpaster; along with several aunts, uncles, extended family members and many friends.

Jessie was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Elba Goodpaster, Jr.

A celebration of Jessie’s life will begin at 1 p.m., Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Noah Fizer officiating.

Jessie will be privately laid to rest on the family’s farm.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, Sept. 28, at Boone-Nickell, located at 150 West Water Street in Flemingsburg.
