Jessie Mattox, 95, passed away Sunday evening November 14, 2010 at Fleming County Hospital after a long illness. She was born July 24, 1915 in Fleming County to the late Rant & Susie James. She was a housewife and mother of 4 children and supporter of her late husband Calvin A. Mattox who passed away in 2004. She was a member of the Big Run Community Church.

2 Daughters: Betty (Bill) Jett of Flemingsburg, KY
Pat (Jim) Garifalos of Cincinnati, OH

Sister: Missouri Alice Colvil of Anderson, IN

6 Grandchildren: Jeff Dunaway, Greg Dunaway, Ricky Mattox, Chris Mattox, Meta Hernandez,& Erica Rascov

6 Great Grandchildren: Brandon Dunaway, Cody Mattox, Kimber, Tristan, Carissa Mattox & Alex Hernandez

She was preceded in death by 2 sons Calvin E. and James A. Mattox, 4 sisters and 2 brothers

Funeral services will be at 1 PM Wednesday November 17, 2010 at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday. Burial will follow in Goddard Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Goddard Cemetery C/O Bernice Plummer 1905 Craintown Rd. Ewing KY 41039
