Jessie "Jack" Ratliff, 84, of Muses Mills, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017.

He was born March 22, 1933, to the late Harlan and Mary Dyer Ratliff.

Jack is survived by his daughter, Kathy Reeves and husband Ernie of Defiance, Ohio; his grandson, Paul Reeves of Tilton; his sister, Ivetta Hester of Muses Mills. He is also survived by his nieces, Libby Hester of Muses Mills, Margaret Harper and husband Bob of Tram, and Garnetta Applegate and husband Larry of Tollesboro; great nieces and nephews, Cristy Logan, Adam (Shanda) Logan, David (Crista) Applegate, Mary Ann (Tony) Tully, Brian (Raine) Hester, Nickie (Matt) Smith, Kenny (Missy) Hamilton, and Dawn Steffey.

Besides his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his sister, Lottie Ratliff, his brother-in-law, Glenn Hester and his nephew, David Franklin Hester.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday April 30, 2017, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Rev. James Porter officiating. Burial will follow in Muses Mills Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Adam Logan, David Applegate, Kenny Hamilton, Bradley Case, Billy Dyer, and Audie Thompson. Honorary pallbearers include Larry Applegate and Bob Harper.

Visitation will be 5 – 8 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home.
