Jewell Claypool, 86, of Flemingsburg, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday evening February 19, 2014 at Fleming County Hospital.

She was born December 29, 1927 in Fleming County to the late C.R. and Beaulah Cooper Maxey.

Jewell was retired from Randall Textron after 29 years of service. She was a faithful member of the Flemingsburg United Methodist Church.

Survivors include

Daughters: Rhonda (Garrell) Coffey of Flemingsburg, and Pamela (Jon) Barker of Clarksville, TN

Granddaughters: Gara Coffey of Atlanta, GA., Kerry (Billy) Kilcoyne of Murfreesboro, TN

3 Great Grandchildren Karoline, Alex and Kate

Several Nieces and Nephews.

Jewell was preceded in death by her husband Charles Claypool, parents, four brothers Bobby Maxey, Johnny Maxey, Teddy Maxey and Millard Maxey.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM Sunday February 23, 2014 at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Goddard Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 - 9 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
