Jimmie G. Emmons, 68, of Hillsboro, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center.

Born in West Liberty, KY on July 7, 1953, he was the son of the late Estill Emmons and the late Pauline Fannin Emmons.

Jimmie was a retired mechanic from Shepherd Industries in Wallingford and Donnie's Garage in Morehead, and was a member of the Wallingford Community Church.

Jimmie is survived by his siblings, Roger Emmons, Diane Vanhorn, Wynonia Johnson, his twin sister Jennie Kinsman; several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ruggles Emmons; his parents; and his sister, Janet Weaver.

Funeral service will be 12 p.m., Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Redmon officiating.

Jimmie will be laid to rest in Hillsboro Cemetery.

Visitation will be 10:30 to 12 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
