James Thomas "Jimmy" Lytle, 76, of Maysville, passed away Friday, May 23, 2025, at University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital in Lexington.
Born in Lexington on November 8, 1948, Jimmy was the son of the late Thomas Taylor Lytle and the late Rebecca Winifred Lathram Lytle Burden.

A life-long lover of baseball, Jimmy was always ready to share a high school memory of being a pitcher for the Fleming County Team. He had an extensive memory of stats for all his favorite players. He especially wanted to see Pete Rose get in the Baseball Hall of Fame. UK basketball was another favorite sports team he followed closely.
In his later years he enjoyed getting together every day for lunch at Burger King with his friends, Don, Norma, Gary, Jamey, and Jimmy. He loved getting to know the employees and meeting new people.
He was a member of the Flemingsburg Christian Church.
