Joseph Brian "Joe" Reed, 40, of Flemingsburg, passed away  Saturday, April 5, 2025, at his residence.

Born in Nicholas County on April 24, 1984, Joe was the son of Kathleen "Kathie" Gray and the late Richard Earl Reed, Jr.

Joe worked at Johnson Brothers as a loader operator.  He was an avid animal supporter and had a dog named Marley.

In addition to his mother Kathie, Joe is survived by his son, Joseph Carter Reed; his girlfriend of 15 years, Amanda Vibbert; his sister, Nettie Jolly; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

In addition to his father, Joe was preceded in death by his son, Colin Cole Reed; his brother, Jonathan Reed; his sister, Jessica Reed; his maternal grandparents, Oliver George Gray and Virginia Koehler; and his paternal grandparents, Earl Reed and Wynema Reed Sorrell.

A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m., Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 11 a.m., until the hour of service at 1 p.m., Thursday, at Boone-Nickell located at 150 West Water Street, Flemingsburg, Ky. 41041.
