Johnnie Carol Rogers, 64, of Wallingford, passed away Monday April 15, 2013 at UK Hospital in Lexington, KY. She was born December 1, 1948 in Maysville, KY to the late Allen and Mattie Rawlings.

Johnnie was a graduate of Maysville High School and Louisville Area Vocational School as a dental assistant. She had worked as a dental assistant for denist C.D. Blair in Flemingsburg, she was a co-owner of Rogers Mini Mart, and had retired for Techno Trim in Maysville, KY. Mrs. Rogers was a member of the 1st Christian Church in Maysville.

Survivors include her husband James Rogers of Wallingford; daughters Michelle Lee (Greg) Buckley & Gretta Lynn (Rodney) Gevedon all of Wallingford, KY; 3 Grandchildren Cheyanne Buckley & Jordan & Jadyn Gevedon; siblings Charles (Barbara) Rawlings of Maysville, and Jo Allen Murrell of Hendersonville, TN.

Funeral services will be Thursday April 18, 2013 at 11 AM at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in Newman Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Sherman Royse, Robbie Conn, Johnny Jett, James Littleton, Donald Bays, Ronnie Littleton, John Allen Rawlings & Jimmy Rawlings
