Johnny Davis Rigdon, 64, of Indian Creek passed away Wednesday April 27, 2011 at UK Hospital. He was born October 13, 1946 in Ringo's Mill, Kentucky to the late Frank and Ruby Rigdon. He was a carpenter for Denham - Blythe Engineering of Lexington, KY. Johnny was an avid outdoors man and a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Bill Rigdon.

He is survived by his wife Sharon Noreen Rigdon

Son: John Rigdon of Hillsboro, KY

Daughter: Leslie Madonna Rigdon (Doug) Wright of Hillsboro, KY

Grandchildren: Sarah Rigdon, Savannah Rigdon, Adam Rigdon, Jeremy Wright, and Dawson Wright

Brothers: Marion (Sue) Rigdon, Lonnie (Bonnie) Rigdon, and Doug (Pat) Rigdon all of Ringo's Mill

Sisters: Wilma (Richard) Smalley and Monnie (Ron) Elter all of Muses Mills, KY
Ilene (Ray) Young of Gallitin, TN
Carol (Jimmy) Hoiser of Morehead, KY

Sister - In - Law: Loretta Rigdon of Muses Mills, KY

Services will be at 2 PM Sunday May 1, 2011 at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home with Pastor Harley Sexton officiating. Visitation will be 12 - 2 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Newman Cemetery.
