Jon Ray Mitchell, 73, of Flemingsburg, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025, at the Hospice of Hope Care Center in Maysville.

Born in Maysville on July 9, 1951, his father was the late Raymond Mitchell and his mother was the late Edna Gibson Mitchell.

Jon worked for Shannon & Hurd and ASL as a truck driver and in construction.

He is survived by Teresa Colgan Mitchell; their two sons, Michael Ryan Mitchell and Stephen Shane Mitchell; his mother-in-law, Nancy Colgan; his brother-in-law, John and Eva Colgan; his sister-in-law, Donita and Dennis Forte; and his nephew, Aaron and Betsy Forte.

Jon was privately laid to rest in Fleming County Cemetery.
