Joseph Cristian Lantz, 21, of Hillsboro, passed away Saturday August 6, 2016 from injuries sustained in an auto accident.

Joe was born February 22, 1995 in Glendale, AZ, he was a 2013 graduate of Fleming County High School and 2016 graduate of Kentucky Welding Institute. He was a loving father, son, brother and uncle, he loved sports and had been a varsity football player at FCHS. After graduation from KWI Joe was a traveling welder.

Survivors include his daughter Harper Layne Lantz; mother Terri (Ray) Lantz Bennett of Winona MO; 2nd mother Kristi Ferrell of Flemingsburg; siblings James Lantz of Flemingsburg, Angelina (Jack) Honeycutt and Abbigail Logan of Winona MO; nieces and nephews Samantha & Ember Lantz, Gaige & Colten Logan; grandfather Jesse Ferrell.

Joe was preceded in death by two grandmothers Nancy Lantz and Joyce Ferrell.

Visitation will be Tuesday August 9, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.

A celebration of life service will be held at Fleming Mason Energy on Wednesday August 10, 2016 at 6PM .
