Joyce Faye Sapp, 69, of Sharpsburg, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.

Born February 21, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Fred Wesley Stanfield and Artie Bussell Williams.

Joyce had worked for Toyo Seat and attended Victory Chapel where she was a member.

Joyce is survived by her daughters, Kim Workman and husband Roger of Owingsville, Stephanie Dailey and husband Troy of Hillsboro, and Danielle Ross and husband Donnie of Sharpsburg; grandchildren, Tasha, Kaylan, Alexis, Justin, Dustin, Haileigh, and Wyatt; great grandchildren, Grace, Isaiah, Elijah and Allie; as well as several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sisters, Diane McIntyre and husband Danny, and Carolyn Jones and husband Lawrence.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Michael "Mike" Sapp (July 2000); her daughter, Robin Michelle Sapp; her brother, Gary Williams; and her sister, Sarah Janice Gilvin.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Friday, April 28th, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Brother Steve Hickerson and Pastor Kevin Miles officiating. Burial will follow in Longview Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Dustin Dailey, Justin Dailey, John Crowe, Doug McCarty, Duane Gilvin, Brian Sapp, Jeremy Sapp and Rick Sapp. Honorary pallbearers include Tony Sapp, Ralph Sapp, Randy Sapp, Earl Mitchell, Doug Manley, and Travis Jones.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
