Wilma Joyce Singleton, 83, of Wallingford, passed away Monday, August 26, 2024, at her residence.

Born on Hester Ridge in Fleming County on May 9, 1941, her mother was the late Edith McRoberts Hester and her father was the late Everett Austin "E.A." Hester.

Joyce worked at the Foxport General Store for several years.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, John Singleton; four of her children, Sandra King, Shawn Singleton, Cassandra Singleton, and Jonathon (wife Candi) Singleton; her eight grandchildren, Chris, Megan, Jessie, Allie, Josh, Andrew, Kenlee, and Isaac; several great grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

In addition to her father Everett and her mother Edith, Joyce was preceded in death by her first husband, Reena Brexton King; four of her children, Rick King, Shelly King, Scottie King, and Andrew Singleton; along with several siblings.

The funeral service will begin at 12 noon, Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Arnold Howell officiating.

Joyce will be laid to rest in Martin Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Jonathon Singleton, Shawn Singleton, Chad Stamm, Johnny Hord, Gary Thomas, and Tracy "T" Prater.

Visitation will be 10 a.m., until the hour of service at 12 noon, at Boone-Nickell located at 150 West Water Street, Flemingsburg, Ky. 41041.
