Obituary

Juanita Prince Roark, 92, of Maxey Flat Road, Hillsboro, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at her daughter's home in Morehead after a short illness.

Born October 3, 1922, in Plummer's Landing, she was the daughter of Zulus and Nora Hay Prince.

Juanita live a long full life with loving family and friends. She loved birds, flowers, gardening and her doll collection. She cherished any small gift, loved to listen to music and preachers on the radio, and her favorite saying was "Where there's breath, there's hope". She was so strong and never gave up on living. She loved her family and friends always. She was smart and funny and we all learned a lot from her.

Juanita is survived by her two sons, Kenneth Roark and Susie of Maxey Flat, Daniel Roark and Joy of Flemingsburg; two daughters, Darlene Moore of Maxey Flat and Marcella Parker and Larry of Morehead; daughter-in-law Georgia Roark; sister Wynema Reed Sorrell; brother Edwin Prince; Grandsons David, Keith, Chris, Kenny, Shawn and Kelly Roark and their children and grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Juanita was preceded in death by her husband Freddy Roark Sr.; two sons Freddy Roark Jr. and Michael Roark; grandchildren Jason and Natalie; brothers Whipple, Lawrence and two baby siblings.

Graveside services will be at 4 PM Wednesday January 28, 2015 at Prince Cemetery with Bro. Darry Cooper officiating. Boone - Nickell Funeral Home is caring for all arrangements for Mrs. Roark
