Judy Marie McCord Fryman, 77, of Ewing, passed away Monday, April 20, 2026, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington. She was the widow of Scotty “Duck” Fryman.

Born in Flemingsburg on November 1, 1948, Judy was a daughter of the late Samuel Morton McCord and the late Martha Marie Jarvis McCord.

Judy is survived by her son, David (Michelle) Fryman; her daughter-in-law, Anna Fryman; her grandchild, Skylar Marie Fryman; her two step-grandchildren, Caleb Flora and Nicole (Les) Heflin; and her two step great grandchildren, Trace Heflin and Kendall Heflin. She is also survived by several siblings, extended family members, and friends.

In addition to Duck, her husband of 52 years who passed in 2023; her mother Martha Marie; her father Morton; Judy was preceded in death by her son, Randy Mark Fryman in 2014; along with several siblings.

A memorial graveside service for Judy will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, May 1, 2026, at the Elizaville Cemetery.
