Karen Elizabeth Kilpatrick, 70, of Flemingsburg, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022, at Pioneer Trace Nursing. She was the widow of Albert E. Kilpatrick.

Born in Washington, D.C.  on June 12, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Scheell.

Karen worked as a paralegal in Jackson, Michigan for five years.

She is survived by her children, Wendy K. Williams (James Wireman) of Flemingsburg, Dennis S. Culvahouse of Laport Ind., Tami (Bill) Purcell of Lansing, Mich., Mandy "Scarlett" Marlatt of Parmah, Mich., as well as many "adopted in the heart" children; her 13 grandchildren, Amy, Jamie Lynn, Cam'ron, Brett, Hunter, Shania, Sara, Hazel, James, Morgan, Brandon, Aaricka, and Madalynn.

The funeral service will begin at noon, Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with President Waldmann  and Fred White officiating.

Visitation will be 11 a.m., until the hour of service at noon, Thursday, at Boone-Nickell.
