Obituary

Kendall Boling, of May's Lick, passed away Friday March 27, 2015 at hospice after an extended illness.

Kendall Boling was born in Kayford, WV to Sanford and Myrtle (Ginn) Boling. He was raised by his Aunt Marie and Uncle Sam Foxworthy in Mt. Carmel in Fleming County.

Kendall Boling was an auto salesman for many years in Mason County. He was owner and operator of Aircraft Sales and airport manager at Soloman Field until his retirement. He enjoyed flying and held a commercial pilot license. He enjoyed all aspects of aviation. He served in the U. S. Army. He was a beloved husband to his wife of 47 years. He was a father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Doyle; sons, Garry (Kay) of Lexington, Larry (Lynda) of Clarksville, TN, and Jackie (Tammi) of Fleming County; and a daughter, Kittye (Roy) Redden, also of Fleming County.

He is survived by 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Catherine Cromwell; and four brothers, Bill, Cecil, Clarence, and James.

Services will be 1PM Tuesday March 31, 2015 at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home with Pastor Phillip Cook of the May's Lick Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery with military rites performed by the W.N. Fant American Legion Post #5 and Franklin Sousley VFW Post 1834. Visitation will be 11 - 1 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Jonathan Cain, Lauren Boling, Tom Prince, Roy Redden, Gerald Woods and Alfie Cheng will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Hope (909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, Kentucky 41056).
