Kenny "Judge" Marshall, 72, of Flemingsburg, passed away Friday, January 31, 2025, at the home of his son.
Born in Fleming County on May 22, 1952, he was the son of the late Chester Irvin Marshall and the late Helen Beckett Marshall Pendland.
Kenny worked as a mechanic for Litton Ford and as a custodian for Licking Valley Community Action Program. He was an avid fan of UK Wildcats and the Cincinnati Reds. He was a talented spoon player. He loved going to Pigeon Forge. When he played softball, he had a famous knuckle ball. He loved his grandkids, loved the time he spent with them, loved dancing with his granddaughter Heather, and loved watching his grandson Dylan play baseball.
Kenny is survived by his son, Brian Marshall and wife Dixie; his two grandchildren, Heather (husband Tanner) Evans and Dylan Marshall; his great granddaughter, Adelynn Evans; his great grandson (on the way). He is also survived by six of his siblings, Randy "J.J." (wife Mona) Marshall, Rex (wife Carol) Marshall, Betty (husband Robin) Carpenter, Joanie (husband Bobby) Underwood, Dana (husband Raymond) Evans, and Linda Hopper; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In addition to his mother Helen and his father Chester, Kenny was preceded in death by five of his siblings, Zina Marshall Evans, Terry Marshall, Danny Marshall, Daryl Marshall, and Ricky Marshall.
The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home, with Pastor Randall Jackson and Pastor David Hickerson officiating.
Kenny will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park.
Pallbearers include Charles Ginn, Tanner Evans, Tim Harmon, Bobby Withrow, Randall "Peanut" Jackson, and Junior Hopper. Honorary pallbearers include Danny Jackson, Gary Miller, and Kermit Gulley.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 4, at Boone-Nickell located at 150 West Water Street, Flemingsburg, Ky. 41041.
