Laura Ann Souder Hunt, 46, of Flemingsburg, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015, at her home.

She was born February 12, 1969, in Maysville, Kentucky, the daughter of William Everett "Bill" Souder and Elizabeth Jewell Hickerson Souder.

Laura worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Pioneer Trace for 11 years as well as a private care nurse. She had a great love of the outdoors and loved to fish, hunt, and garden. She was of the Christian faith.

She was preceded in death by her father; and grandparents Paul Hickerson and Everett & Rosa Souder.

Survivors include her daughters, April Hunt and Rosa Hunt; grandchild, Kennedy Renee; special friend, Rita Fugate; brother, William Everett Souder, Jr.,; sister, Sherry Lynn (Ron) Carrier; maternal grandmother, Hattie Hickerson; aunts and uncles, Kenny (Cheryl) Souder, Wilma (Ron ) Kurz, Alice (Gerald) Dyer, Elbert (Donna) Hickerson, James (Jenny) Hickerson; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2015, at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Engle officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Active pallbearers will be Brian Justice, Nathan Justice, Kenny Souder, Elbert Hickerson, Josh Dyer, and Ron Kurz.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Dyer, Ron Carrier, Annette Rizzo, Amy Bolar, Linda Higgins, Donna Bacon, and Sharon Rigsby.
