Lena Wells Rigdon Garris, 95, passed away Sunday morning September 20, 2015 at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home.

Lena was born May 27, 1920 in Fleming County to the late Thomas B. and Alifair Eulette Rigdon.

Lena was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Kentucky Christian Holiness Church in Flemingsburg.

Lena is survived by her son, Bill (Sandy) Garris of Knightstown, IN.; one grandchild, Bill Garris, Jr; four great-grandchildren, Brock, Bo, Brett, and Brenna Garris; special niece, Helen Allen; and several nieces.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Garris; her parents; two brothers, Newell and Otha Thomas Rigdon; and a sister, Jewell Jordan.

Funeral services will be at 1PM Wednesday at Kentucky Christian Holiness Church with Rev. George Sloan officiating. Burial will follow in Fleming County Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Tuesday at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home.
