Obituary

Leo Thomas Hunt Sr., 87, passed away Thursday March 15, 2012, at home surrounded by his family. He was born December 14, 1924 in Fleming County to the late Ollie Nelson & Nanny Hunt. Mr. Hunt was a retired carpenter, but more than that he was a man of many talents. He was a man of great integrity and never met a stranger. He was a life long member of Mt. Carmel Christian Church. He was preceded in death by a son Leo Thomas Hunt Jr., grandson Michael Dale Hunt, his parents, brothers; Marshall, Robert, Elgin George, Curtis, Ollie & Jr. Elwood, sisters; Pauline Davenport & Elsie Davenport and a daughter in law June McClanahan.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years Frances Jolly Hunt

Rebekah Weaver, Caden & Annabelle Patrick

Several Nieces & Nephews

Funeral services will be at 1 PM Monday March 19, 2012 at Mt. Carmel Christian Church with Rev Steve Singer and Rev. John Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Elizaville Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 - 9 PM Sunday at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home. Military rites will be performed by the W.N. Fant American Legion Post #5 and Franklin Sousley VFW Post 1834. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Care Club, Hospice of Hope, or Mt. Carmel Christian Church. Pallbearers will be family and friends
