Leroy Glenn Dorsey Jr., 74, of Tampa FL, formerly of Flemingsburg passed away Wednesday August 5, 2015 at South Tampa Health and Rehabilitation.

Leroy was born August 31, 1940 in Paris, KY to the late Leroy Glenn and Gladys Fisher Dorsey.

Leroy was retired from GTE after 30 years of service as a central office equipment installer. He was a long time member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union and of the Methodist faith. Leroy proudly served his country in the US Army as a photo lab specialist.

Survivors include his sister Anna Dorsey of Tampa, FL; brother John Dorsey of Tallahassee, FL; niece Rachel Dorsey of Port Angeles, WA; aunt Betty Dorsey of Flemingsburg; and several cousins.

Graveside services will be at 2 PM Monday August 10, 2015 at Fleming County Cemetery with Rev. Norman Wasson officiating. In place of flowers, Leroy's wishes were that you make a donation to the charity of your choice.
