Lida Belle Mitchell, 85, of Flemingsburg, departed this life on February 19, 2014, at King's Daughters Medical Center.

She was born on February 15, 1929 in Nicholas County to the late Harley and Lula Belle Earlywine.

Mrs. Mitchell was a loving wife, mother and grandmother & a member of Fox Valley Community Church.

Lida was preceded in death by her husband James "Jim Boy" Mitchell, 2 sons Larry and Hank Mitchell, grandson Michael Dale Hunt, her parents and 12 siblings

Children: Barbara (Joe) Wade, Patsy (Darrell) Marshall, Franklin "Danky" (Janetta) Mitchell, Cathy (Billy) Watkins, Edith (Arthur) Linville, Lonnie Mitchell, Sue (Dean) Mitchell, & Richard (Marsha) Mitchell

Also surviving are 21 Grandchildren, 34 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren

Funeral services will be at 7 PM Sunday, February 23, 2014, at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Gaylord Gillispie officiating. Burial will follow in Elizaville Cemetery on Monday February 24, 2014 at 10AM. Visitation will be after 5 - 7 PM Sunday.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Marshall, Bryon Mitchell, Damon Linville, Shawn Mitchell, Josh Mitchell, Brandon Marshall and Patrick Mitchell. Honorary pallbearers will be BJ Watkins and Franklin Mitchell.
